This week our thanks go out to Angela N., whose mother, Elizabeth, of Albir, sadly died on Tuesday 3rd January in Villajoyosa Hospital. Angela, who works part-time in a Hospice in Wigan, UK, has very kindly donated the contents of her mother’s wardrobe, as well as many personal effects to Caring Together for sale to raise funds. Would any readers who love selling things like to start a weekly market stall with this fine collection of smart, seldom worn clothes - skirts, blouses, dresses, jumpers etc - bargains for ladies of size around British sizes 14-16. (Talla Española 44 - 48).
Or would an existing trader like to buy from us wholesale ? There are about a dozen sacks (one containing over 70 skirts all as new) and a small colour TV in working order.

We are also seeking people who will look after collection boxes in the area covered by this newspaper. Every little helps - and every box in place helps to make our work better known. Our aim is always to increase the quality of life as life is drawing to a close. It is an expensive task: Angela was telling us that the Hospice in which she works needs to find £5,000 EVERY DAY ( that’s about 7.300 Euros) to maintain their service to the people of her city. We on Costa Blanca have a very long way to go to achieve such an income - meanwhile we are available to assist people who have chosen to spend their last days at home. Subject to availability of funds and of qualified staff, we do all we can ! Please help us to help.
