audio books

Do you know that a DVD Audio Book can read to you for ten hours or more ?
A caring supporter has offered to lend audio books to patients who are unable to cope with the conventional kind of book.  Â
Just send details of what you would like to read to Caring Together, mentioning your disability, to Aptdo 267, 03570 Villajoyosa and our friend will lend you a CD or DVD from his personal library.
Or you may email your request to info@caringspain.com with a message title like “CT audio books”.
Your only expense will be to post the book back to Aptdo 267, 03570 Villajoyosa when you have finished enjoying it.
The lender says that authors included range from Asimov, A to Gray, Zane, plus Wilbur Smith & Dick Francis and, on the non-fiction side, some serious stuff from astronomy to zoology with a bit of history, economics and politics in between.
What he doesn’t have is things in the Barbara Cartland genre.
He says he can supply about 10 hours reading on one CD and still have space to fill in with some documentaries or radio comedy.
System requirements are as follows:Â
CD player that will handle MP3 files (eg ex Lidl or Aldi recently for 30 €, probably much the same at Media Mart)
OR or a computer with a CD drive and the software to play MP3s (most have that these days).
