What you need is a box of books, a front terrace and neighbours within walking distance. Tell the neighbours you’ll be selling some unwanted books cheaply on Saturday morning.
Sell them cheaply.
Tell each buyer that if the book is returned in good condition at your next sale, you will give back half what was paid for it.
Tell them when your next sale will be.

CHARITY SUMMER FETE
The Costa Blanca’s very own palliative care charity, ‘Caring Together’ is to hold a Summer Charity Fete at the Asturias Restaurant alongside the N332 at Punta Prima on the Orihuela Costa.
The fete which is by kind permission of the management at the Asturias is to run from 9AM until 2PM on Saturday 5th July, 2008.
Steve Butler of ‘Caring Together’ is very pleased to invite the free participation of any other charity who may wish to set up a stall to sell bric-a-brac, clothes, books and so on so making this a true charitable event.
Any charity wishing to take part are invited to ring Steve on 96 676 1944 to reserve a table or two and it is emphasised that this is for charities only.
(That went well! Every charity made sales and workers got to know each other. Let’s hope to repeat sometime soon.)
