Teresa was formerly the librarian of a hospital collection of microscope slides of cancerous tissue and as such acquired a great deal of knowledge related to our work. Her job was to assist hospital cancer specialists in recognising the type of cancer suffered by their patients.. She was closely connected with a British children’s Hospice unit as well.
A strong supporter of the Hospice Movement, she was a valued member of Caring Together’s executive committee during her years in Spain.
Now back in the UK, she is currently the Management Secretary of an NHS Hospital.
In her spare time she collects seeds from her cottage garden and sells them on eBay, often to expatriates, and donates part of her profits to charity. (You can find what seeds she has on sale by going to www.ebay.co.uk and making red*hot*seeds one of your favourite sellers. You may guess from her eBay name that she specialises in chillis !)
