Earlier this week we asked 32 Clubs & Societies with email addresses to be kind enough to indicate their general approval of Caring Together as presented on www.caringspain.com  and to give us their moral support.  We have not asked them for money! 

The first response came within two days …..

She tells us that they have wheelchair access and would warmly welcome wheelchair users to join.

Art Centre Association - Javea

   The Art Centre Association is a non-profit association that encourages both complete beginners and the more experienced, by offering tuition, lectures, demonstrations and workshops.  Come and join us, there is always a space in most of the groups. The Art Centre, near Inn-on-the-Green, has two well-equipped studios, central heating and a coffee lounge. There is a large car park and wheelchairs are welcome. We are fortunate to have so many enthusiastic and qualified instructors living in the area, consequently we have a broad range of subjects to choose from.

 Subjects usually available are :- Painting in Oil or Acrylic, Mosaics, Etching workshop, Watercolour, Drawing, Mixed Media, Portraiture, Bob Ross Workshop in Oils, Sculpture in Silver, Creative textiles and, Restoration of Ceramics & Porcelain. We are currently looking for an instructor in Picture Framing. The language of instruction is English but the Art Association is multi-national.The Art Centre Association has studio/meeting rooms available for ANY group or club who want somewhere to meet on a ‘one off’ or regular basis or, who just want to come along and make a mess ! !  Fully equipped studios with tables, comfortable chairs, easels, good lighting, projector screen, etching press, paper roll, white spirit, art & antiques reference library, car park, central heating, wheelchair access, coffee lounge, ‘choccy bikkys’ and as much tea/coffee as you can drink. All of the above included free for the whole group at 35 Euros per morning or afternoon session.This is a non-profit association, if no one turns up to your session you don’t have to pay. This might suit art, crafts, music, slide shows, computer training, model making, card making, textiles, cake decorating, lectures, workshops, study groups, etc.There is an Art Centre rule that if it is your birthday (and you are admitting to it) you have to bring cake.
